Etsy and ATC's

It's been a busy weekend! Between BBQ's with the in laws and dinner at my dad's, and work, there's only been enough time to paint up a few ATC's for my trade over on Swap-Bot. Tea themed, I almost want to keep them for myself, but sending packages is too much fun.

17" Of Fun!

I really want to show them off though and I'll have pictures up after they get delivered. Just so I don't ruin the surprise!

You might be wondering, what's the deal with todays image? Well I've got my Etsy store up and running and this is my first listing! I have a whole pile of these hemp necklaces I made back in 2007, just sitting around in my bead box and they need new loving homes! You can check out the listing Over on Etsy (it won't bite). I should have more up tomorrow as well as some cute original art!

My Etsy shop is kinda boring right now but you're welcome to check it out.

Tonight's dinner plans are left over potato salad and grilled chicken, with steamed garden carrots and beans. Garden tomato's for dessert!

My New Sacks

I went over to pretty much my favorite tea house yesterday, Steeps, to unwind from a busy day window shopping and book buying. After wandering around for four hours mostly in the sun, I was looking forward to a refreshing iced tea, but when I got inside I knew I needed to get a pot of Lemon Tart. Even hot, the splash of lemon, with the bold black tea undertones cooled me right down and I was ready to enjoy the next hour curled up on one of their many comfy chairs with one of my newly purchased finds.

Tibetan Monk's Tea at One Hour
Before started to head home, I stopped by the tea shelf and spotted a few boxes of T-Sacs'. I grabbed a box of T-Sac - Size 2's and small bag of Tibetan Monk's Tea. The multi-layered aroma really sold me, the vanilla and jasmine push through the spicy mix, but the entire package is on the whole isn't over powering.

I wanted to break out my kettle right when I got home, but  being the first time I've tried this particular tea I wanted to softly sun brew it instead. Just after lunch today, I filled up one of my new T-Sac's and let it sit in my favorite brewing spot. That photo was taken about one hour in, and with the release of colour I'm seeing, I expect a four hour brew time.

The Dinner Crystal Ball says nice light ham, cheese and tomato sandwiches, with a side of baby greens to combat this heat. Until then, I think it's ATC sketching time!
